Annual Recital

We hold our annual recital in the spring. Traditionally it has been held the weekend of Memorial Day Weekend. The recital is an exciting tradition that gives students enrolled in our recreational program the opportunity to showcase their hard work for family and friends. Not your typical dance recital, Step By Step puts on a show worthy of rave reviews! Students perform a choreographed dance in costume on stage under professionally designed lighting. Detailed information about the recital including dates, schedules, tickets and more is provided to families throughout the year. Next Step Dance Company (NSDC)

The Next Step Dance Company (NSDC) has shown great success since forming in 2004, participating in exciting events and performance opportunities. NSDC’s well-rounded dance curriculum provides team members with a strong foundation and understanding of the art of dance. NSDC dancers range in age from 7-18, train a minimum of seven hours per week, and are expected to attend additional rehearsals as needed. Additional outside training is organized when possible to include local conventions and private master classes. Our goal for NSDC dancers is to encourage self-esteem, good sportsmanship, time management and responsibility.

Winter Gala to benefit Burn Survivors of New England 

Taking place on Saturday, December 20th at the Waltham Westin Hotel, this event is an opportunity for our dancers to take the stage in support of a cause that is deeply meaningful to me personally and professionally. Burn Survivors of New England is a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization that provides emotional and financial support to individuals and families impacted by burn injuries. Their mission is one of resilience, healing, and hope—values that align closely with what we aim to instill in our dancers.

• General Admission: 6:30 PM

Tickets will be available soon, and information will be sent home about how your child can get involved in this special performance opportunity.

For families who own or represent a business, there will also be sponsorship opportunities to support both our dancers and this important cause.

We are honored to represent Step By Step at this extraordinary event and look forward to dancing for a purpose that reaches far beyond the stage.
