Location: The Westin Waltham

Dancer Call Times

Step By Step Students: 3:30 PM sharp

Father/Daughter: 6:15 PM

Adult Tap: 7:15 PM

Unyted Stylz: 7:30 PM

Adult Lyrical: 7:45 PM

What to Expect

Dress rehearsal will begin with blocking, followed by a full run-through. This allows dancers to experience the stage fully costumed and gives our staff and crew time to prepare music, spacing, and backstage operations.

Rehearsal Protocol

Dancers must arrive show ready, wearing their first routine costume

One parent/guardian may accompany their dancer for check-in only

This is a closed rehearsal; no additional guests permitted

Dancers may not leave until their final routine is complete and they have checked out with an SBS staff member

Please ensure dancers eat before arriving

All costumes and accessories must go home; Step By Step is not responsible for lost or stolen items

Arrival & Parking

Park in the garage only

Do not stop or wait at the main entrance

Escort your dancer to the entrance; Step By Step staff will assist with check-in

About the Event

The Winter Gala is an inspiring evening benefiting Burn Survivors of New England (BSONE). The night features powerful survivor speakers, performances from Step By Step Dance Studio, guest artists, and a holiday celebration supporting a meaningful cause.

General Admission Doors
General admission doors open at 6:30 PM.
General admission guests will not be admitted before 6:30 PM unless prior arrangements have been made with the studio for disability accommodations.

Parking and Arrival Information

Free parking is available at the Westin parking garage.
All dancers and guests must check in at the main entrance upon arrival.

Tickets and Access Requirements

To watch any portion of the show, all attendees and performers must have one of the following:

• A General Admission ticket
• A VIP ticket
• A Performer Access Pass (limited to performers only)

Chaperones must purchase either a General Admission or VIP ticket if their dancer is staying for the dance party. Ticket deadline is Wednesday, December 17th and WILL NOT be sold at the door! 

No one will be allowed into the ballroom without the appropriate ticket or access pass.

Performer Access Pass Information

The Performer Access Pass grants SBS performers who are registered for our 2025-2026 dance season access to the Dance Party immediately following the show.

An access bracelet must be worn for entry into the Dance Party.
Performer Access Passes do not include food.

Food and Beverage

• There is no food included with a General Admission ticket or a Performer Access Pass.
• Dancers should eat before arriving so they are properly fueled for the show.
• All beverages are cash bar only.
• Bevi water station available at the Westin
• An ATM is available on the premises.

Dancer Check-In and Check-Out

Dancers who are performing and not staying for the full event or dance party must check in and check out with the designated Step By Step staff member.

Step By Step Dance Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please leave valuables at home.

Ticket Information

General Admission: $65 per person
Sponsor VIP Ticket (Reception + Show): $150 per person

Each ticket purchase includes a partial charitable tax receipt.
