Tuition Policies

Tuition rates are not prorated based on the number of classes in a given month. Rates are subject to an annual increase of approximately 2–3% to account for rising operational costs and to maintain the high quality of our programs and services.

No portion of fees, paid or outstanding, is refundable in the event of absence, withdrawal, or dismissal from Step By Step, Inc. A late fee of $25 will be charged to family accounts that fall 10 days negligent of their ten (10) payment installment.

Payments that fall past May 1st may prohibit participation in any Step By Step, Inc. programs or productions, and year-end placement and recital costumes will be withheld until payment in full is received. Returned checks and declined debit/credit cards are subject to a $25 fee.

Step By Step, Inc. has a no-refund policy. Exceptions to the no-refund policy will be made for medical withdrawal only, with a required doctor’s note and Director’s approval. Refunds will not be given for missed classes due to illness, injury, snow days, personal commitments, etc. Dancers are welcome to make up any classes missed within a month with prior approval from the Director.

All fees, including adult classes, private lessons, workshops, summer dance programs, competition packages, birthday party packages, Quinceñera/Wedding Party/Flash Mob Group Packages, toddler programs, virtual classes, and special events, are non-refundable.
